Florería Coral: online store, payments, and orders for a local business

Overview

Florería Coral is an online store for a local florist in Santa Inés, Viña del Mar. Customers can browse the catalog, pay through Webpay, and create orders through a checkout designed for mobile shoppers.

The project combines WordPress and WooCommerce with custom integrations that fit the business's actual operation: products, delivery, availability, and orders in one flow.

Features & Functionalities

1. Mobile-first catalog and shopping

A responsive storefront lets customers discover arrangements, check prices, and start an order from any device.

2. Payments and order creation

I integrated the WooCommerce flow with Webpay for online payments and order creation, including the information needed to prepare and deliver each purchase.

3. AI-ready information layer

The site exposes an llms.txt document and read-only public endpoints for products, delivery policies, and availability. An agent can query reliable information and hand the customer off to web checkout.

The Challenge

The challenge was turning a traditional florist operation into a clear online shopping experience without losing its business-specific rules: delivery zones, store pickup, cutoffs, and order preparation.

What it demonstrates

This project shows how a WordPress installation can become useful commerce infrastructure when it is connected to payments, operational rules, and data that modern software can consume. The delivery is available through llms.txt and documented public endpoints.
